This is a quick spot to pick up a sweet treat in the area, most importantly the banana pudding. At times this location does get really crowded due to magnolias popularity. Since it is a narrow space, it can be a bit difficult to differentiate order lines from checkout lines (both can be long, but move quickly) on my visit there were retractable barriers to help with this. Tip: Again there isn't much space here, so you may want to walk over to Rockefeller Centers lower concourse to sit and enjoy your cupcake/cake slice/cookie/banana pudding

We had the Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake, which had a gingersnap crust. The texture isn't what we normally like in a cheesecake. It was very wet and not as set as we usually like cheesecakes to be. It really just tasted like a whipped pumpkin pie and not cheesecake. It still tasted great with lots of fall flavor, though.

Forget about the cupcakes. They're forgettable, unless you're just obsessed with cupcakes or something. Get the pudding (any flavor is outstanding but especially regular banana). Also don't pass up a key lime cheesecake (share it or you'll be dragging afterwards, so good). Also the key lime ice box cookie is way better than it looks. In the fall, pumpkin cheesecake and pumpkin pecan squares are my favorites. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that after all these years it is still consistently a confusing place to walk-in, order and pay. People often don't know where to line up or where to order and that makes an already cramped space frustrating to navigate for someone that knows the ropes and is trying to get in and out quickly. Just a minor gripe, this place is still a favorite!

Amazing desserts! It's a must! The only thing I would suggest it's a place where you can eat! Specially in the winter, would be perfect if we could just sit down or even a place to stay while you enjoy the delicious food they offer!

I’d heard horror stories about the line but honestly found it was extremely well managed and organized. They bring people in together in groups and instruct them to go to the station for the type of good they want to order. I got the famous banana pudding which was maybe a little more whipped cream and a little less banana than I was hoping for, but it was still good all the same.
