These folks are fantastic - I have gotten more personalized attention, explanation and information from Mr. Maida than from most doctors. They are caring, attentive, and invested in their customers' health.

I am so impressed with this little pharmacy.  I never want to go back to CVS or Walgreens ever again.

My doctor prescribed something that had to be handled by a compounding pharmacy, and directed me to Maida.  The pharmacist was very thorough and considerate.  He asked me specific questions about my health to help inform his choices.  He's clearly a smart and careful person.  

I picked up my prescription last night, and today I got a call from the pharmacist to check on me.  What incredible care!

Two considerations for those considering a compounding pharmacy.  Drugs that have to be mixed like this do cost more than wholesale pills, but the larger copay was worth it to me to get something tailored to my needs and to be treated with such good care.  He can, for instance, mix up a drug in a topical cream to be absorbed through the skin if you can't tolerate pill form.  

Also, because it is a small, family business, and so much is done on an individual order basis, you might have to wait a little longer for the prescription to be filled. 

Still, so totally worth it.  These people clearly care about what they do, and clearly do it well.  They have earned a loyal customer.

Great service. I needed something compounded, and it was the first time I've needed that. The pharmacist explained everything and had it ready on time. Nice to have a local pharmacy.

They may be good at compounding; they certainly survive on it.

If you need to send a multipage fax, that is one service NOT to go to them for, even though they advertise "public fax". They've don't know how to send more than one page per call, or how to set up outgoing faxes while incoming are in progress. I wound up paying 'em $12 just to take my pages back and go somewhere else.
