One of my all-time favorite parks to go to anytime of the year.
This park is great that it offers areas to barbecue and ample of space for a large gathering of people. Play areas for the kids keeps them occupied.

There are many ducks 🦆 and Canadian geese that make their way to the pond, but beware of the fecal matter, it's everywhere.

For being the "main" city park the playground arew is very poor! There are so many better and more modern parks out there.  I added a star because the grounds are a lot nicer than they had been for awhile and the tsuru island is nice.  But considering there is a great lacking for better services and opportunities for kids in east co. I think they could make some improvements.

I sat in the parking lot, enjoying the changing leaves, and watching a couple of young men ride their bikes on the ramp, for about an hour waiting for my husband to finish a meeting. It was really enjoyable.

Nice park.  I like the Japanese garden the most, great for taking pictures.
