I have been a customer at Main Street Insurance for over 12 years. The agents are knowledgeable and friendly and have always made me feel like they truly care about my needs. Never have I felt sales pressure or like they were forcing me to buy any insurance I didn't truly need. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family for all their insurance.

Main Street Insurance did a great job. They helped me with my Medicare and saved me a lot of money. They also have helped me with my personal insurance for many years and they are always great to work with.

I would not recommend Main Street Insurance. Their in incompetencies have cost me a lot of time and money when they (mis)managed my marketplace health insurance. They took my 2016 pay estimate (it turned out to be spot on) and ran the numbers wrong. I was paying around $84.00 too little per month and at tax time I watched a $1000.00 evaporate off of my return. Brett Labrum gave me a "sucks to be you" response to their incompetence. But, the nightmare doesn't stop there..... In December of 2016, I asked the agent handling healthcare what I needed to do since I was no longer going to use the marketplace insurance. His answer was to "just stop paying the monthly premium and they will drop you." Wrong!!!!! Ignorance and incompetence!!! Select Health billed me for January, since I did not notify them and the federal government sent $380.00 of subsidy money for that month to Select Health (government incompetence). After filing my 2017 taxes in February 2018, and at the time that I should have received my 2017 return direct deposit, I receive a letter from the IRS wanting a 1095-A form to account for that subsidy paid in January 2017. Long story, short, by the time this is all over I have lost hours of my life that I can't recover and I will be receiving my refund in the late summer. I will probably be paying the government back for that $380.00 subsidy I never used. I go to professionals to shield myself from these problems. I depended on them and they let me down.

Tried to get in contact with my agents several times to resolve an issue. This business is very poor with communication. Do not recommended.
