Best place in Southern Maine for jewelry unless you are a conspicuous consumer and must have the latest advertised "brands" which, jewelry-wise, means you likely are getting totally hosed for it.  Sorry, the truth is ugly concerning modern gemology.  If want QUALITY jewelry in a myriad of shapes, styles, carat weight, color, even vintage, etc., then this is for you.  BTW, they don't do watch batteries, just a heads up.  You can find eye popping one-of-a-kind pieces. Estate pieces are drool worthy. (ok, some of it is kinda extra ugly, but well made!) Better than any basic mall jewelry store pieces tho'!  I LOVE this place and the amazingly knowledgeable staff.  They know their jewelry, gold, silver, coins, etc.  It's 15 stars worthy:)

The staff are very helpful and kind. I have been going here for a few years, I wouldn't trust anyone else to repair my jewelry. There collection of antique jewelry is Beautiful

Got ripped off bad here selling some jewelry.  Didn't realize it until years later.  Sold a gold necklace with Sapphires in it.  She said she could only give me the gold scrap value.  I asked her to take the Sapphires out and she said it would cost so much for the labor to remove them that I would basically break even.  I took scrap value.  They were big sapphires, and worth hundreds of dollars... I have since sold jewelry to village Jewelers in Cornish Maine.  I Highly recommend them, honest and fair prices for gems and gold.
