I would like to say that my experiences have been extremely favorable. All the way through this scarey experience everyone has been exemplary. I had so many questions that were answered more than once. This whole situation was so overwhelming to me and my husband. We were on complete overload. My circumstances were unexpected by all means. I was going in for a kidney stone that caused some bleeding and ended up with tests saying that I was in much more serious condition than this. Within about two weeks, I had an Aortic Valve Replacement and a Permanent Pacemaker put in. I am home recovering and doing great. I thank EVERYONE involved with my care. I Still have a long road to complete my recovery but I am so thankful. I look forward to going back for my follow up visits so my doctors can see what a great job they have done and how grateful I am to them. I thank My God for his Love and being there with the health care professionals as they fixed my sick body. As I was moved from one area to another at MMC I could see the dedication that MMC Healthcare Professionals have. I worked over 30 years @ OHM, BMC AND MMC. I respected these facilities throughout the years. After experiencing this surgery, I have even a higher feeling of gratefulness to these facilities. In 1976 I had a placenta previa when my son was born two months early. I was and am still eternally grateful for that blessing. He is now almost 42, on April1st. Yes, born on April Fools Day.
