It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a good halal restaurant. The décor was nice, the food was tasty, and we had this really good spiced tea recommended by our excellent waiter (I think his name was James.). I'm a vegetarian, and I was pleasantly surprised by my few, but very appealing options.

Pretty upscale place. Has a nice, private area for families. The food is pretty good, though a little bland for my taste. They make a very good pumpkin dish though! The Moroccan tea is very nice as well. I also like the lamb gyro. The prices are very high though, and then after adding on gratuity, you will probably go home with empty pockets (but a full stomach).

This place is a hidden gem in Columbia. Don't let the exterior look fool you, it is lovely inside and warm. The food is tasty and great. We enjoyed the Somali tea and our waiter was amazing. Thank you James!

After seeing this restaurant a few times I went to some of the stores located at Columbia Crossing, I decided to go in and have a meal. I'm so glad I did as I was very impressed with the ambiance and reception. I was welcomed by Hanna, the manager, and she did a good job introducing me to their menu and helping me make a choice. Food is very well seasoned and delicious, portion is generous and I would definitely go there again and again. Only thing I would suggest would be hot spices for people that want that option. Thank you very much.

The food here is delicious, and the staff are all very nice. However, be prepared to wait! We popped in at 3:30pm to dine in, and waited 40 minutes for the chicken kebab. We ended up asking for it to go. Not a huge deal but we had someplace to be. When we received my order, it was wrong - we'd paid extra to get eggplant instead of rice. Again, the quality of the food is great, just plan to wait longer than you expect. Some reviewers have remarked on this; I think if this is the norm here than management could post a sign to the effect of "great food takes time to prepare" or something like that.
