Alright, so I visited about 2 months ago and I've been meaning to write a review but I keep forgetting.  I had one of the best steaks of my life here. If I remember correctly, I got the Bourbon Prime Sirloin. I ordered medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked. I'm definitely going back next time I'm in the area!

The service was excellent and the food was great. Everything from drinks to our meals and dessert. Our steaks were all cooked just as requested and came out quickly. All the employees were happy and very friendly.  My only complaint is that it was a little cool upstairs.

I had a shrimp-and-grits lunch special with Asian-inspired hot sauce and Gouda cheese. I'm not a grits fan but this dish was perfect . The grits were creamy and smooth; the shrimp were large  and the spice was just right - just hot enough to tease. I could have eaten it all day.

There was sooooo much wrong with our visit it just made the whole experience disappointing.  From entering into a smoke filled restaurant (We suspect that something burned in the kitchen) --so much so they had to open the patio doors to help clear out the smoke.  To the air conditioners on full blast blowing cold air directly on our table of seven.  The fact that the waitress didn't get our order correct (three of the seven dinners were wrong) didn't help. one example was the steak was supposed to be plain but she had entered the bourbon steak = a sauce that totally ruined a great piece of meat). More oddities included the weird pairings of flavors and textures like the calamari with their overly spicy chipotle like dipping sauce and their kids hamburger was the same, obnoxiously large size adult potion. 

Had high hopes... just completely let down.  I'm going to chalk it up to an off night.  But I'm also not willing to take another chance there with my dining dollars and time.

Every time I am in Atlanta I come to Malone’s. The staff is awesome and love the food. I am in Atlanta at least once a month and I have never had a bad experience here. Anyone in the are should try them out you won’t be disappointed.
