Little neighborhood place, very fresh food, friendly, courteous staff, and a good price point. We've gone twice, both times were great experiences. I like that it's small...it feels like a hidden gem for locals, and hopefully our next visit is just as nice. Vegetarian options: They had options that were cheese and vegetables, no meat. They do not offer plant based meat, but it wasn't an issue for our visit/dinner.
Excellent customer service. The food was fresh and came fast. The guacamole was a nice size and so creamy. We had enchiladas verdes con pollo and a chicken burrito. And they were both delicious as well as the guacamole. My new favorite Mexican food spot!
I love eating here ! The fajitas, flautas and nachos are fire. The waitress does her thing but I would say a helping hand would be beneficial. My hubby and I have already marked this spot as our date night spot. He loves the margaritas and I love the mojitos.Food: 5/5

Wow, wow, wow! This is our go to Mexican food spot whenever we’re craving it or don’t feel like cooking. Literally anything you order will be delicious! ANYTHING! Our favorites are the chicken burrito dinner, fajitas mixtas, bistec a la mejicana, their tacos tinga, al pastor, bistec and guacamole! They have great happy hour deals from Monday-Thursday until 7 pm and their mojitos are TO DIE FOR! The servers and owner are incredibly sweet and attentive and super hard working. The place is cute, dinnerware is on theme, and we always find a table when we drop in. I can’t recommend this place enough!
I ordered 4 chicken tacos which were pretty good. Authentic Mexican tacos are the best. I also ordered chips and salsa, which was super overpriced. The chips weren’t warm and pretty stale. However, the salsa was good. I liked the food but don’t think I’d come back because of the prices.
Had lunch at Mama Puebla on Tuesday. It was empty when we got there . The food was awesome as usual . Loved the fish tacos- it’s my favorite, the sweet plantains were at the perfect ripeness and the guac is always fresh and delicious. Service was great as well, prompt and courteous
Me and and family came here in national taco day and i had shrimp tacos and they there very good. It was my first time here. My wife had beef tacos and also good. The service was great. The Waiter was nice and polite. To me it was pricey but I would come back
Best authentic Mexican restaurant cuisine I've had since I lived in the Southwest. My favorite dish, chile rellenos, is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere. The hot sauces for your dishes are homemade and delicious! Andrea prepares the chili relleonos daily, and there are none better in New York City. Wherever you reside in New York, Mama Pueblo is worth the journey to satisfy your craving for authentic homemade Mexican cuisine that is made with love.
