Best pizza ever! Has to be whole milk mozzarella, because it melts when you warm it up just like it was when you got it! The pepperoni curls up, holds the grease from the pepperoni and gets crispy around the edge. The crust is the perfect combo of crispy and soft. The sauce is perfect! I get the traditional style round, no need for deep dish, even tho it is almost as good. I've never been to the actual location, but I order frequently from my work place. If you like good pizza, this is your spot!

Humble little pizza carry out place that doubles as one of the best dine in Italian experiences you can get anywhere in the US, let alone Michigan. The sauce is homemade and its not trying to be too flashy or sweet or whatever these other places try to do. I have had debates with friends whether its gonna be here or Mario's and this will usually win out (marios in midtown is good too, no disrespect)

These people don't know what they are doing. My husband called and ordered 2 large pizzas. He asked for a buffalo chicken pizza which they do not have so she offered BBQ chicken so he said yes that would be fine. When the order arrived we got a large veggie as ordered and a BBQ chicken dinner. We were so confused so we called. I got the girl who takes orders when I told her we got the wrong order she asked me to hold. Another lady came on the phone and asked the number the order was taken from. I gave her my husbands phone number. She must have looked up the order because she said we ordered a BBQ chicken dinner and a large veggie and I told her that we had ordered 2 large pizzas. She proceeded to tell me that my husband was at fault here and that he ordered the dinner and her girls always repeat back the order to make sure it's right. I told her if she didn't take the order she couldn't be sure and that either way we got the wrong thing and I know he said pizza. She kept saying we ordered wrong. Finally she says let me look to see what the difference in price is for the BBQ chicken dinner to the BBQ chicken pizza and told me it was 3.50 and asked if I wanted them to have them make he pizza and send it out and take the chicken back. So I asked if I needed to pay the difference and she told me yes. I told her that was ridiculous since we didn't order incorrectly and wanted it a while ago now. And she said well if we did that we would be out out of business after she had just told me that her girls make so many mistakes that they have to repeat orders. I told her if you guys can't get orders right that will make you go out of business and told her I will never get food from them again, bye. She laughed and said bye... NEVER ORDER FOOD FROM THEM. THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE FOOD IS INLY DECENT... NOT WORTH IT

Top notch. Little small and could use a full bar. But the food and service deserves 5 stars.

Mama Rosa's is easily the best small shop pizzeria on the east side. The deep dish is incredible, salads are great portions and you can tell its still family run.
