I have visited 7 different mandarin locations across the GTA and southern Ontario, and I'm happy to say I haven't been disappointed by any of them. My visit to the Barrie location was by far the most memorable. All the food was fantastic - it was all very fresh. No one in my party was disappointed by anything at the buffet - and we were there for over two hours. Very good food, very good consistency, and the 3 or 4 times I've been to this location are all worthy of a 5 star review.

Party of 5 for Friday December 22, 2017.  Wait time was rather reasonable.  Would suggest a small speaker in the lobby's waiting area for staff to call the next waiting party.  Staff very polite, friendly and helpful  Buffet provides a many and varied selection of most popular Chinese style cuisine.  North American / European selections also available.  Good salad / cold selection and lovely desert area.  All around good quality and value.

We went there for crab fest and loved it.  So much fresh food enough variety for the most picky eaters to be satisfied.  One of my companions had the prime rib and stated it was melt in your mouth.  I had the shrimp , crab and salads.  The fresh fruit selection was the only thing that wasn't upto previous visits' standard...there wasn't much to chose from.  The service was excellent as usual.  ;  )

My favorite place to visit when I come home for the holidays. All you can eat delicious crab legs and an endless buffet of just about any Chinese or American food you can think of.

They also have okay sushi and sashimi on the buffet, and a superb dessert bar with pies, cakes, pastries, and I've cream with an assortment of awesome toppings ( hot fudge, caramel, sprinkles, m&ms, crumbled Oreos, etc. )

Awesome place to eat but really expensive. Definitely worth the money every one in a while though.

Great as always. Price is high but you get a good quality fresh buffet with everything you can wish for. Been going for years and will continue
