The staff was rude. It took a whole 2 hours just to get a unit. I told them I needed a small unit because All I had to store was a child bike but yet they still took me to the largest units in the whole facility like I was going to pay 200 dollars a month to store a child bike. They wouldn’t let me take my chihuahua into the facility but then when I got to the storage units there was a guy storing a whole bunch of dog food. So much dog food the whole floor smelled like dog but I couldn’t bring in my chihuahua. I had to listen to the 2 cashiers talking about their personal life the whole time i stood there waiting for a unit. Once we finally got the the units There was a man packing his things into the unit when the staff told him he had to move because he was causing a fire hazard. How does a storage place even run if it’s a fire hazard just to put your things into a unit? Would not recommend this place. To over priced. Rude staff.

really helpful staff, great location (i live just blocks away), super competitive pricing and very clean/well-lit. and it's 24/7 open. what's better than that?

Manhattan Mini Storage was recommended to me for our business needs by an employee who also rents there for her personal items. She told me that she really loved that the facility was 24 hours and always staffed which was super appealing. I decided to go forward and move my items from Extra Space Storage to here and I couldn't be more pleased. Gensis and Jason were particularly friendly and helpful along with all the other staff. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Harlem/Manhattan area that has storage needs. Keep up the great work guys!

I rented a space on line at a given price. I made the date the following day. I went in to secure the space on the following day and was told it was there and they put off the lease date from that day to two days later when I had movers. So I did not visit the space, the day I reserved and I did not personally visit the space the day I visited in advance of the move in date. When I arrived to move in, the "agreed upon space" was not available. I was told that "on line reservations" has no idea what is actually available at each site. Further I was told the employee who assisted me on my visit two days before was wrong about what was available. The new space is $100 over budget and I was there with the movers unable to negotiate despite multiple attempts to rectify. I accepted it because I had the movers on the doorstep with my stuff. At this price, it would've been better to have gone to another facility. I gave the employee that assisted me on the move-in date with multiple opportunities to rectify this; he did not. He further said that a manager above him couldn't help because they have no idea what is actually available at each site. I had a good experience with them before but this experience was not acceptable. After I posted this (about ten minutes after) the manager called and gave me the previously agreed upon rate!! We discussed many aspects of the event and he apologized and agreed to speak to all involved. I am pleased and I told him so.
