Story

It used to be just a highway running from the Upper West Side to the southern tip of Manhattan. But then came the creation of Hudson River Park in the late 90s, and ever since, this stretch of the island has been hugely popular among joggers, bikers, skaters and dogwalkers. A slew of brand new skyscrapers have brought thousands of city dwellers to this once unpopulated area. They enjoy tons of outdoor space and those spectacular views of the river… along with New Jersey on the other side. (You can’t have everything.)

I've had space at the West 44th Street Manhattan Mini for years and it's a tremendous benefit. I can store all of my holiday stuff, skis, theatre props, etc and know they'll be safe and that I can get them anytime. Everyone I've ever dealt there has been super helpful, whether I needed to move to a bigger or smaller unit, or needed other assistance. Recently Dan has been very helpful and pleasant, solving all of my storage problems creatively and with patience, courtesy and good humor.

Dan W at the 44 st 12 avenue location was awesome. I recommend talking to him about a storage. I say this because he showed a lot of patience with me and eventually got me the storage I was looking for. Very nice and very professional.

I had a terrific experience with Manhattan Mini Storage at 645 W. 44th St. The staff was extremely helpful when I was moving a large amount of stuff in, and equally helpful as I was moving it out and downsizing my storage unit.  I dealt with several different staff members and a couple of managers during my "stay," and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating.  They made a stressful situation so much better!  I would absolutely recommend them.

I was with this location for a few years.  ALWAYS had a nice experience with the folks at the front desk and the custodians, as well.  The facility actually improved remarkably in the time I was there and when I moved out after not needing the space anymore they pro-rated my account.  Great place!

General Manager Marlon goes out of his way to accommodate, problem solve, and make life easier. Like most of the staff here, he's kind and attentive. I've used many Manhattan Mini locations throughout the city for both personal and work purposes and this location is well maintained, always clean (including the 24-hour access restrooms), and the staff - as exemplified by Marlon - really go out of their way. Highly recommended. Also, even late at night here, I always feel safe, it's well-lit and secured, and staff are present.
