A lovely authentic, yet fast-food experience! The bistek and pork adobo are delicious, and the sinigang reminds me of home. Service here is quick and friendly, and as a tourist, I would highly recommend this quaint place! Salamat po!
If you like Filipino food in south bay.. this place is the best bang for the buck!!! $$$ Home made every day by some nice old school Filipino cooking.. must try !!!
Bought some lechon from this place thinking I was going to get at less 3lbs of lechon for $45. But instead I got 2 of these containers plus half a plate of rice. I've been to other Filipino restaurants where you get more lechon for that price. It says on the menu lechon kawali $45 for a half and $80 for full. I wonder how much lechon you get if you order the full size.
A little pricey but they serve a very good Filipino food.
I give 4 stars because nothing compares to my family cooking. It gives me the feel as if I’m back home in the Philippines . Service is okay with me as you might need to be a little patient with the old folks running it. I’m proud that their in business and I hope they continue and grow. The food is decent, not expensive, and will hit the spot if you’re looking for a decent PINOY food spot in the area.
Came home from out of state. Owner's extremely nice and kind. Prices great, food fantastic home made and proportions are spectacular. Definitely my new favorite place everytime I come home. Thank you Manila Wok for the great visit, delicious food and fun conversations each time we came.
I haven’t had sinigang in astonishingly about 10 years. This place did my memory justice, and then some! Sinigang is my favorite Filipino food, aside from lumpia with dipping sauce of course, and this place pleasantly surprised me. I am not local, but had a yearning to get some Filipino food on a whim. This place satiated my appetite, with left over rice of course. Staple, staple. My local Filipino go-to restaurant closed. It’s funny that this restaurant has a very similar ambiance to it, I suppose Filipino culture really shows through decor/service traditions. No doubt this place is family owned, as most of the Filipino shops are I assume. Good people, good atmosphere and most of all GREAT food. Thanks for the hospitality, guys :
Manila Wok serves authentic Filipino fast food turo-turo with reasonable prices. They are still open during COVID but only for takeout. You can choose a combo with 1, 2 or 3 entrees. A 2-entree combo is $8.50 as of the time of this review. Entrees are also available as separate orders or in party sizes. My favorite dishes here include BBQ sticks, pork adobo, lechon kawali, lumpiang shanghai and turon. My rating reflects the taste and value for its category fast food.
Manila Wok has good and traditional Filipino food at a decent price. However, restroom facilities are far from the greatest, and the dining area is kept cool from fans rather than air-conditioning. I would recommend the food but not the in store accommodations.
