Maranatha Fellowship exists to bring people to Jesus and the local church, train them up to be strong, mature Christians and to send them out into their communities and the world to spread the love of Christ.

I lived in Charleston from late 2001 to October of 2006. I started attending Maranatha in about mid 2003, and just fell in love with it. It was such an awesome Church. And the really great thing about it is that the Holy Spirit is ALWAYS welcomed, and allowed to do WHATEVER He wants.. it was also a HUGE privilege to sit under Pastor Wright's Ministry. I felt loved in there right from the very first time I went. If you're even just visiting the Charleston / St. Albans area, be sure to pay a visit. You won't regret it.

I keep coming back, this is the first church that I feel God present , I feel I'm learning the word and my son enjoys going as well. I lapse like most and yet I feel this is my home church. I tried many in the past but coming here , it's a great fit.

This is my home church and I think we try to do our best to welcome everyone that will comr through our doors. And the reason they have their backs turned to the people is that the first look then if there is a car far enough away they will step out before they let people cross. We only have volenteres , becuse they give up thier free time to insure young and old's lives.
