Definitely worth the hype! Great pizza. Perfect crust...just enough crunch and doughiness. Sauce was great. Service is top notch! Greeted with smiles from beginning to end. Was checked to make sure I was okay and asked "hows the pizza"....which is always encouraging to see/hear...especially in the service industry. Prices are reasonable...paid $5.50 for a corner slice and can of soda. Their current menu prices are very reasonable, given the current prices/cost of food in general. I was very happy to see every single employee hustling...making food, taking orders, other preparation. Small but adequate parking lot shared with a few other stores. I hope to return when I am in the area again to try some other slices/items.
I just left Marcello's pizza grill and only have amazing things to say. 1. The pizza is absolutely amazing. That Corleone style pizza is worth every bit of the hype. I am living in mercer county for ~6 years and this is EASILY in my top 3 pies. And I eat A LOT of pizza! 2. This is about the service that I received. I called in the order and picked the pie up. I had my 2 year old daughter with me and as most kids do, she fell asleep on the short ride to the pizzeria. I called when I got there and asked if someone could walk the pizza out to the car so I could let my daughter to continue to nap. The response that I received was "of course" and a smiling young man walked out with my pizza. It was ~$21 for the pie. So I gave him $30 and told him to keep the change for the nice gesture. He asked multiple times "are you sure you don't want change?". Hes a better man than me because when I worked for tips, a big tip like that was always appreciated but never turned down. Small things like this mean the world to a parent. It gives you that feeling of family and home. To me, those feelings are what makes a pizzeria stand out. Tons of places have good pizza, but a few don't even thank you for buying pizza from them. Sometimes that is the deciding factor when deciding where to order from. So hats off to this establishment for treating their customers well, providing a GREAT product for a reasonable price and going above and beyond for me and my daughter! PS- as soon as that amazing scent of pizza hit the air in the car, my daughter popped her head up and said "mmmmmm pizza!"
Sal is so nice and friendly!! So glad I came here, because their Corleone style pizza is amazing! if you're not getting a Corleone slice or pie, you're missing out because that's their specialty. People are friendly, establishment is clean, and the pizza was made quickly and perfectly cooked. It was refreshing to try this new style of pizza, and I'll definitely be back : I got a large Margherita Corleone pie and my friend and I were so hungry that we shared the entire thing. The cheese and sauce are clearly quality, and it has that fresh, right out of the oven taste to it. *Wish I took a picture of the whole pie before demolishing it ;, it was a huge size imagine double the size of the picture I posted and tasted amazing.
THIS. PIZZA. Is everything I want in a pizza and more. Light, airy, crunchy, tasty, AMAZING. Naturally we had to come here because of Tik Tok. And it’s pizza. The guy in the video is genuinely sweet and so is Marcello! Wish it was closer to NC because we would love to have this great pizza every day! I had the chicken bacon ranch pizza, best ever. My man had the pepperoni which is a wonderful classic.
First time customer 15 minutes ago and I stopped between bites sort of to write this. Your sicilian pizza with onions & pepperoni is by far the best example of what a Sicilian pie should aspire to be. By far the best example I have ever tasted in my life. I loved that you kept it thin and let the toppings balance the crust. The flavors were remarkable and the pepperoni was on point! Cooked to perfection as well where the corners and onions got a bit toasty and crisp but no bite was ever dry. Hold it vertical...nothing slides off. Edge to edge toppings and cheese...this pizza is a masterpiece. You guys got ALL the little things right.
Great pizza and great customer service. Father, son and daughter and friendly and are very polite and welcoming. I don’t go often but when I’m in the area I have to stop for a slice of the Corleone style pizza.
This is the best pizza i have ever had in my entire life. I've lived in NJ my whole life, never had a pizza like this before. Wow it is absolutely fantastic. It's a 50 minute drive from my house and that is no problem for me. I will be going back soon. Marcello is a very kind and wonderful person. Thank you for the experience!
I tried this location a day after randomly see it on the barstool stuff. It got an 8.1 i think? Super random. Not gonna lie - it was fantastic. I live in new york. Been here more than a decade. Im never ever in the trenton area. What the hell? This pizza was so good, even by nyc standards. To be clear - i didnt try the other slices. I got the corleone. I waited for it. I ate it hot, at the shop. I suspect this type of pizza would not travel well, and sitting inside a box for 5-10 minutes would definitely matter. Ill never be in the area again in my life but if ever i am i know where im goin to eat
Happen to be working near by this week from out of town. I phoned in a order for pick of the TikTok famous, Corleone, got the Caprece with balsamic glaze, extra fresh mozzarella. What made the experience even better was meeting the man himself. Just as friendly in person as on TikTok. The pizza is amazing, lots of flavor and aroma. I will see you guys again down the road. Thank you!
I drove an hour to go see what this food is all about! I ate a chicken bacon ranch corner so good I had to take two pies home to enjoy more for dinner! Absolutely amazing and of course got to see the man the legend Sally slices !!
