I'm from the North-East, so tasting a different style of Mexican food was wonderful.  The tacos were absolutely wonderful, savory, bold.  I wanted to steal the recipe.  Was a nice treat in Alamogordo !

First I will say that the staff was VERY nice and courteous but unfortunately the food is of poor quality. I had high hopes but it was just not good. It took me a minute to realize but the Chile Con Queso was legit Velveeta cheese; I could tell because throughout the meal it slowly turned back into its original gelatinous  form. Sorry NO Bueno!!

Very good food, amazing service. Put together nicely. I always get the chicken enchiladas with rice, beans, and garnish.

A GEM IN THE DESERT! There was plenty of parking. Ambiance was very comfortable, it was very clean. It was not busy when we arrived, but then, I think, an entire softball team showed up. all those young people... no echoes, we could still have a conversation. I loved that the tables were not crammed so close, if you are in a wheelchair or just want to sit your chair back a little, plenty of room around your table. The service is stellar. Shame on me for not remembering, but the man who kept our drinks full and the AWESOME Agave Margaritas coming, THANK YOU!

We ordered the fajitas for 2. The beef and chicken were cooked perfectly, nicely seasoned, the chicken wasn't dry or chewy and no gristle. The onions were also cooked perfectly with still a slight crunch. The cheese was definitely hand shredded, not frozen from a bag, the veggies and guacamole were all very fresh, not soggy. The sour cream was  fresh and cold. It didn't look like it had sat around all day getting runny.  

BEST TRES LECHE CAKE EVER! We did save room for dessert. Presentation was nice, a generous double layered slice of cake with a thin layer of whipped cream in between and top of cake. 4 dollops of whip cream on each side of the cake and a good drizzle of chocolate syrup. Having had this dessert before, it was not a traditional slice I'm use to seeing. The cake did have the signature saturation with that sweet milk, but it didn't pool on my plate. It was so well balanced: the moistness and the sweetness. Best, I ever had.
