I recommend this place for everyone. Even if you don't eat pork, you can get chicken. And if you don't eat meat, you can get a meal of all sides for less than $7. I LOVE their honey wings, onion straws, fried corn on the cob,  sweet potato fries and baked apples to name a few. The best time to come is on a Monday-- you get free desert when dining in. This is an all time favorite for me and my sister. We've been going here together for 10+years.

If you haven't been to Mark's in Louisville, it's definitely worth trying it. Really good BBQ chicken and pork chops. The ribs, however, are outstanding! We've never had s bad meal here have been several times. Service is almost always superior and the atmosphere is Kentucky country, right down to the plastic checkered tablecloths. A tad pricey for BBQ, hence only 4 stars. Tip: always ask for extra napkins to fully enjoy the fare!

Great people and great food. We had a small problem with our wine, but they handled the situation to a T. As first timers, we got free pie and, lo and behold, a bottle of their original sauce. Definitely worth your time and the BBQ was great as well!

While the food isn't healthy, it does taste good! They offer two different sauces at the table, but they aren't even necessary on many things. The ribs, corn on the cob, and buttermilk pie are highlights! Service isn't lightning fast, but it isn't bad. Staff is friendly, and they have adequate accommodations for young children.

Family favorite.  We go here fairly often.  Reasonably priced, well made BBQ.  They have a lot of great food to offer, but my go-to favorite is the simple yet delicious BBQ Pork sandwich basket with seasoned fries and a sweet tea.  Their sweet tea is super sweet so if you're not into that sort of thing, try asking for half sweet, half unsweetened.  It's still sweet enough, in my opinion.
