Rooms are spacious, but furnishings were selected more based on appearance rather than function (dining room chairs are very heavy, glass table is fixed in place, difficult to comfortably fit 6 adults). Outdoor area is a major upside. 6 hot tubs (two designated as adults only, one cooler for babies, free swim diapers available), large pool, 4 grills with tools available, outdoor dining areas available, all with views of the neighboring Park City Mountain Resort. Activities area has seen recent upgrades which accommodate activities for children and adults. It would be nice if the activity schedule were available online so that guests could more easily plan ahead before arriving at the resort. The theater room is a nice gesture, but allowing guests to request movies outside of the set schedule would likely encourage more use. Showing R rated movies next to a children's play area in the middle of the day is a cause for concern, but requiring a room key to enter helps limit the audience. Overall the Marriott MountainSide is an excellent resort with many great features and amenities. I would highly recommend it.

So beautiful! Marriott's Mountainside has its own little square that it sits in the middle of. There are plenty of stores for outerwear and skiing/snowboarding gear. There's one or two restaurants at the square, within easy easy walking distance. One is a bar, but they serve (very overpriced) burgers, so my boyfriend and I resorted to takeout instead. Our room had a small kitchen bar at the far end with a mini fridge, sink, coffee maker, and the cabinets were stocked with plates, cups, glasses, and utensils. Room was spacious and clean, and had a view of the square outside, and covered parking was free. There was even a concert playing! The heated, outdoor pool is massive, and they do have a hot tub. They have buses able to transport you to a few different ski resorts, and they pick up and drop off just on the edge of the hotel property. There are plenty of optional events to attend in the hotel, and staff was very helpful. They even checked us in an hour or two before the allotted check in time! Only downside I would say is that check out is 10am... Other than that, everything was lovely! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful resort, with lots of great things to do. Excellent place to bring your kids. The pool and hot tubs are really great and if you were here in the winter, it would be an incredible place to stay and go skiing. You’re very close to downtown Park City where there are lots of good restaurants and fun shops. I highly recommend staying here!

We love the Marriott Mountainside! The hot tubs and pool area are very fun, it has fire pits surrounding the area and BBQ grills, which make for a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are kept very clean and well-stocked with dishes, extra sheets, excetera. We were very impressed with our stay at the resort! Would definitely recommend!

My family and I love this place. We've been coming for many years. It literally opens out onto the slopes and they have amazing hot tubs. I do have to say that the new furniture is incredibly uncomfortable. I don't know who was in charge of that but they made a bad call. It's a new age style and it looks nice but it is not nice to sit on. Besides that, this the best resort around.
