It's Marshall's so there is a level of chaos you have to expect when visiting. The makeup section always looks disorganized and pawed through. You can find a lot of great things here if you are willing to search a little bit.

I bought a suitcase for $60, and a week later when I went to put my stuff in it, there were marks on the back. A friend recommended I take it back and said they should return it no problem. When I got to the store I still had the tag and receipt (the tag was removed before I noticed the marks) and the girl at the register went off to the side with another employee to "check the item" then the girl came back and said she just needed the manager to come do the return. When the manager got there, she asked me what had happened. Then she said "if you would have brought it back just a few days later, maybe, so no we won't take it". (It had been only 16 days-their return policy is 30 days) I replied that "I didn't even see it until I went to leave on my trip a few days ago", and she very blankly just said "sorry". I have worked costumer service for many years, and I've never ever known it to be okay for employees (let alone managers) to do something like that. You can be sure I don't plan on shopping at this Marshalls (or any) again.

It's a good place to look for cheap clothes or shoes. But it's a little unorganized

Really great deals and a good selection. The staff is kind of weird. They kept grabbing things out of my hands and then handing them back to me. As if I was about to steal a six dollar shirt.
