Tasty, though a bit pricey. You do get what you pay for. Sushi tasted very creamy and fresh. The udon soup was flavorful and citrus-y. It wasn't that busy at all at this time (noon:15ish), so I received lots of attention from the attentive staff. 9/10 would lunch again.

Probably the best sushi I have ever had. Wait staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. Food was a tad pricey compared to other sushi restaurants in the area but is incredibly high quality and makes for a perfect special occasion spot. Highly recommend the 'Maru'velous and Madagascar rolls!

Currently the best sushi place in the Lansing Area, at least in my opinion. Good drinks menu and a tasty selection of fish and vegetarian rolls. The menu is a little static but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you get high quality every time.

Took my wife on a date here and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was a bit pricey but the servings were more than enough. 10/10 would do this place again

Husband and I stopped in for the first time looking to get some take-out sushi to go with our leftover Ukai from the night prior. Initially I had pretty high hopes, staff was friendly and willing to explain what was "good" on the menu and we were offered water(that we never received) while we looked over the menu up at the bar...We ordered a California roll, dumplings, and an order of $13 dollar soup. Yeah, you read that right.. Anyways, the Cali roll was bland, the soup was mostly broth and noodles and the dumplings were soggy and once they cooled down they became mush... $40 dollars later and I'm pretty disappointed. Also, our bill was $37 something so I put 3 $20's in the book so I could get change to tip with. She brought back the $2 dollars and didn't break the $20. Perhaps she thought I couldn't do basic math? Who knows. All I know is that this will be our first and last trip to Maru.
