I have many experiences with this store and 98 percent of them I couldent be happier with. My only bad experience is in the coating isle. I purchased tubes of through the roof sealant and when tried to use I found that the product has gone bad. Instead of returning them I threw the stuff out and moved on. I recently tried to purchase an elastomeric roof coating through them and I left the store slightly disgruntled. They had 1 out of 5 gallons I require and there was a ton of dust on top of the can. Any siliconized product of this type has a pretty short shelf life and the dusty lid gave me instant suspision of a product gone bad. The man at the store complained to me that he never sells the stuff so he will not stock it. I offered to pay in advance and after a brief thought I felt like an inconvenience after seeing the reaction of store employee who guessed that may be possible but didnt look happy about it I asked him where I could get the stuff and he points me toward Lowes. I hate Lowes...lol thats why I prefer hardware stores. But lowes it is and thats where I will do all my business from now on. I've lived here 2 years and I'm beggining to miss my old local hardware store where they would have gladly offered to get me the stuff before I had a chance to ask. I dont get it because Ive dealt with Marzens before and they have specially stocked our dog food just for us and when we decided to switch I bought out the entire inventory to keep everyone happy. Now I cant pay in advance for a 5gal bucket? Thanks alot.

Locally owned and operated family business...always helpful...if you can't find what you're looking for...just ask!!! They carry a tremendous array of items!!
