I love the old feeling of this place. It makes me feel like I'm back in time in North Carolina! Being from Florida, I don't have that many experiences like that. We always have to go to Mast when we come to Asheville! We never go away empty handed! The unique selection of items is wonderful, weather looking for something for yourself, or a gift for someone else.

Eclectic general store in the heart of Downtown Asheville. Great selection of outdoor clothing, gifts and bulk candy in a well thought out down home atmosphere.

Very cool store. A little expensive but it is to be expected in a place like this. Candy selection was awesome.

More for tourists than locals (and the prices reflect that), but still a fun shopping experience.  I love the high quality socks and camping gear downstairs, and my kids are always eager to hit the candy barrel! The kitchen area is nice, with different and good quality kitchen implements. A fun store for that last minute gift!!

Nice big store, lots of great stuff and end of season clearance going on. The music outside the front door us always great.
