This is a higher - end pet shoppe located in the heart of Westboro. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products and even some that they don't carry themselves. They have a fantastic selection of pet foods, treats, toys and accessories. They also do grooming services but I haven't had the please of trying those yet. The team is keen to spend time with you to help you find exactly what your pet needs. It's a great spot that I'm will to make special trips to visit. They also have a puppy checklist so be sure to let them know if that's what you're shopping for.

Great specialty pet store focusing on dogs. They have some unique products, offer pet grooming, have a photographer in sometimes. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help find what you need or what your dog needs.

Service was good but the quality of grooming was mediocre. I took my smallish medium sized dog in for a lion cut (shaved body and legs) and the length of fur on the shaved areas is inconsistent, and her mane is very asymmetrical on her back. The photos sort of show the issues but she doesn't really sit still for photos, she thinks you just want to give her love....

I was wondering about this place and not having a dog anymore (Sherri a beautiful black and white Border Collie Huskey aged 8. Feb 2 2000 Rainbow Bridge mommy misses you still everyday.) I avoided going in with my still broken heart. A place just for dogs would be too much so I thought.... Imagine my surprise when they show cats too! A mom of two kitties Max 11 and Sid 3 orange Toms I found two unique and locally made scratchers at reasonable prices. I also found that the young ladies that worked their LOVE FERRETS. I went in with her and found caring fellow animal lovers. Unique conversations began.🌹 Rose loves you all very much too. She was a bit tired as I took her out when she is often sleeping but she really enjoyed all the attention cuddles and the impromptu photoshoot. Rose I noticed brings out the best in people gives love to all  and I am blessed to share her with everyone we meet! She is two years old she's my first and have had her since she was a baby. As wonderful as she is she's a ferret ambassador of sorts. I advise everyone that they are alot of work and to do your research before having one. They are NOT cage pets like hamsters and like all animal they deserve and should expect vet care for furever long they may live. Ferrets with great care (Cheryl Laite a ferret expert at Westboro Animal Hospital!) may live 10+ years!!! Also please adopt don't shop. Rose is a petstore ferret from Marshalls around the area of New York City. Today I knowing how many are abandoned I recommend and support the Ottawa Ferret Rescue. There are many too on Kijiji. They need homes but the Rescue is best place for vet checked animals and  a great resource of educational knowledge on these dear hearted unique fuzzballs. My visit at Masters and Dogs was wonderful. They have many loyal regular customers. The dogs I met brought   big smiles to my face. Special mention to one of the staffs doggy who greets you like family. It's also A JOY to see other fur parents acting like like it's normal to babytalk. You won't fill out of place in this animal friendly place. There are even decorated doggy cookies. They made me drool they look so good! Note to the owner of  Masters and Dogs You should be very proud of your choice of staff. The layout of your store the community vibe of your place the doggy daycare the grooming area and the cat for adoption from the rescue. WELL DONE. My late Sherri would have loved it and barked her approval. Thank you. I appreciated your staff made my and ferret Rose's day! Rose and Sid and Max my cats also loved their sofa styled couch scratcher and tall scratcher!

Some of the staff are really nice, however we were turned off this place by some of their presumptuous attitudes. You can find the same products in other stores in the area without feeling like you're being judged.
