Conveniently located on Bank Street in Centretown, this pet store is a great place to shop for all your pet needs. The staff is knowledgeable, very friendly and always helpful. If something is not readily available they will gladly order it in. Prices are reasonable and competitive. They offer extended hours during the summer and are also hosts to animals up for adoption (through various agencies). Would recommend to everyone - and do every time I can.

This is a great store for cat guardians! 😻 Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The prices are competitive. Plus... adorable kittens up for adoption.

I moved to Ottawa in early 2014. Healthy Pets HQ was the first pet store I wandered into and my search ended that day. Susie and her staff have been incomparably kind and helpful, giving great suggestions for products and not always recommending the highest-priced item. The store is clean and bright and well-organized. I've been very happy shopping there.

I came in for the first time to get my chihuahua new food. The woman working there was able to give me a recommendation of food based on his health concerns. I was ready to buy a bag of what she had suggested but instead she told me to take some samples first to make sure! Was given samples of 6 different foods. I'm so grateful for this customer service since he ended up loving a kind that I never would have thought to buy. Went back in and bought a bag the next day. They also offer a grace period to return food if your dog ends up not liking it. Knowledgable staff who care about animals. I will be coming back many times. Thank you!
