Decent selection, but a bit pricey and seems some products are not fresh. Also, was surprised to see bologna cut into slices still with a wrapper (had to remove it for each slice before consumption). Overall - good place, but could be improved.

We thought it’s nice place at the beginning but at our second visit when we were checking out we saw a cockroach behind the glass where they have baked stuff. We stayed quite, took our food and headed to eat outle food. The baked potatoes were spoiled, it was sour. We went to manager and he said no it’s ok. Looks like they do not care about their customers. They did not even remove that potatoes. Do not go there. There is another place much smaller right by Matreshka. It’s name Kalinka. It’s much better and cleaner. And local people rescind it all the time.

Менеджер делал вид что все ок и ничего не решал, даже не убирал картошку с витрины.

Every time i am in town, i always try to stop by my favorite store-cafe.
The food is always very good, but fish with sauce and their meatballs are just simply the BEST!

This is a nice homey place with fresh food and genuine Russian food you can get at this store. It also has a place to eat indoors and outdoors as well. Great selection of Russian and Ukrainian salads, and hot/warm ready-to eat delicatessens.  I give more starts to this place compared to their competitors, Kalinka.
