Maurine Littleton Gallery exhibits and represents the leading contemporary artists working in glass, metal, and ceramics.
Established in 1984 and located in Washington DC's historic Georgetown neighborhood, the Maurine Littleton Gallery exhibits and represents leading contemporary artists in glass, metal, and ceramics - including Harvey K. Littleton, Dante Marioni, Dale Chihuly, Ginny Ruffner, Albert Paley, and others.
Maurine Littleton, the daughter of Harvey K. Littleton, is the owner of the gallery. In 1984, while in DC for the opening of her father’s retrospective exhibition at the Renwick Gallery, Maurine became aware that no existing DC art gallery was committed to the established artists working in glass and ceramics. Shortly later, the Maurine Littleton Gallery was established in Washington DC’s historic Georgetown neighborhood.
Nearly 30 years ago, Maurine began representing artists such as William Morris, Dale Chihuly, Ginny Ruffner, Therman Statom, Colin Reid, and John Littleton/ Kate Vogel – and continues to do so to this day.
