This is not the first time that I ordered tires online days in advance at a preferred time and when the day comes and I arrived the tires are not here. I don't fault the workers at this facility but whomever puts these orders through. On this occasion I made an appointment for 11:30a.m. two days in advance. I arrived to find out that of course the tires are on the shuttle and it should arrive by 3:30p.m. and I would be called when they arrived. Since I live near by I left my home "even though I wasn't called" and told for certain that they would be here and you've guessed it they were not. Hey Mavis what is the point of ordering online IN ADVANCE?? I must point out that THIS IS THE SECOND TIME!!! On a completely different vehicle that I owned two years later.. You boast "customer satisfaction but where is it? Where is the dependability??? I made this appointment online ahead of time because I need to drive this vehicle out of state in the a.m tomorrow!

John was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding my vehicle. He took the time to explain why I needed to change my oil and how important it was that I not exceed 4,000 miles between services. John and his team were excellent and I would recommend giving them call when you need vehicle repairs/maintenance!

Leo V is the manager to go to. I entrust my three vehicles in his care. Upfront and honest. This location is convenient, has ample waiting area, got free WiFi, free air that is accessible even at off-hours. Next to Taco Bell along Stelton Rd and located in Middlesex Mall

If you call them to ask about prices or wait times, you get an automated message with options. Be sure to press option 2, otherwise you'll speak to a call center that has no idea what the status is of your local Mavis location. I called them on a Saturday, the call center rep told me to go right on over. When I got there, I was told that there was a 2 hour wait, and if I didn't want to wait I could come back tomorrow because they aren't that busy on Sundays. When I told him what the call center person told me, he said that they are trained to say that. Hey Mavis, tell your call center people to get current and accurate info so that we all don't waste our time.

I used to work for mavis for a short time and if you work there it's the best for cheap replacement parts plus access to the garage lifts but that's about it. My manager would come up to me and tell me to lie on the paper work to get a higher store prophet for that week compared to last year's... Coming from someone that was on the inside don't go to Mavis sts or Suburban Discount Tires. There all the same company... My grandmother brought her van to the Mavis in South Plainfield for just tires and then out of no where the front two struts are shot when they were just replaced not that long ago... Now my grams van is literally falling apart on the front end... I can't ever beginning telling you how many bolts weren't even tight, it's like they walked away and for got about it... Your better off finding someone working outta there drive way. You want someone that's truthful and honest don't go to Mavis. They target older people because they don't know...
