I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 am 1 week out.  I arrived at 10:20 am on the day of the appointment to be told by an employee that it would be 3 hours before they could even start the job.  I asked what the purpose of making a scheduled appointment was and the response from the employee was "they all have 10:30 appointments too" as he pointed to the waiting area with 10+ people.  I decided to take my truck and $1000 purchase to Goodyear.  I ended up paying $720 for the same tires these clowns quoted over $900 on and was treated like a customer instead of like a burden.  Will never step foot in there again and will tell everyone I come into contact with about the quote the employee made.

Original appointment was for new tires but they discovered front brakes were bad. Showed me the problem and gave me the option and estimate to have them do the extra work while the vehicle was on the lift. Spent more time and money that day than I planned on but it was well worth it. Great place to have work done on your vehicle. Knowledgeable, courteous staff and quality workmanship. Highly recommend.

The staff - from the manager to the mechanic who worked on my vehicle were courteous and prompt. My issue was fixed with a minimum of fuss. The price given to me was embarrassingly low, given the work done and the response time. I have no doubt a trip to the dealer would have cost me at least five times as much. When the crew noticed a possible separate issue outside of their scope, they were happy to recommend a local mechanic they trusted.

I wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone!

If you want fast, crappy cheap service that is inconsistent and attitude-laden, be my guest. 

Midas had a 3-day wait for tires and I waited too long to get the snow tires put on, so I went to Mavis Tire at the end of Route 3 and State St. in Watertown. They had a 2 hr wait when I called at 1pm on Saturday and I agreed to drop it off and come back for it. Arrived at 2pm and the wait would be 3 hrs and they were unsure if they could get it done by the end of the day, so I agreed to pick up Sunday and I told them I needed it done by 12pm.

It was promised to be done by 12pm Sunday and I asked that they do three things: #1 Dispose of the old all weather tires, #2 Call me when it is complete so that I don't waste my time coming by at 12pm if it is not done, and #3 Actually fill all snow tires to proper PSI for my vehicle. I explained to rep at desk that the last times I've been there, tires were consistently 2-3 PSI over vehicle specs and specified that they all need to be set at 30PSI. He promised that it would be the right pressure, tires would be disposed of (I confirmed no additional charge), and ready by 12pm. 

Sunday at 1pm I call to find out why I haven't gotten a call and he says actually they just brought it inside. Yes, thats right.....1 HR AFTER PROMISED COMPLETION TIME they were "just now bringing it inside" which is usually code for: "we forgot about your vehicle". I tell them I absolutely need it done by 2:30pm otherwise my wife will be late for work. They finish by 2:25 and call me to tell me it is complete. My wife and I rush there and she jumps out to get in her car and all 4 of the old tires I asked to have removed are sitting in her car. I quickly stack them outside the store on the corner and and go inside to pay. I tell thE rep that I staked the tires they were supposed to take on the corner and they should probably have someone go get them. The guy at the desk then cops an attitude as I pay and says, "You must be military right?.....Are you freaking kidding me? I get my vehicle late and no attention to detail and you are going to imply that because I am military I have the attitude problem? I ask why he asked that and he replies in a very clipepd tone that he was military too. I mention that perhaps it bothers him then when someone lies to him and doesn't follow through on their word or do anything to make it right and he says nothing. 

I'm not going to apologize for being military and I was never rude during the entire engagement. I was pissed, don't get me wrong. But your incompetence does not equal an attitude problem on my part. I will never use this location again. For anything. If you want fast, crappy cheap service that is inconsistent and attitude-laden, be my guest. '

The guys at Midas are much better and actually treat you right. They've made a mistake or two on my car, but have made it right by treating me courteously and being fair in their dealings with me. Next time, I will wait for Midas, even if I forgot to swap tires until almost the first snowfall.

The worst place for ever doing business. I asked for only a replacement tire and they tried to sucker me into a deal which is like 700 bucks. I was so mad i had them out my car back the way I had it and took my business else where. They tried it say they had me on camera saying I agreed to it which I didn't I only wanted the special they advertised nothing else. They are crooks don't trust them.
