The food is delicious, they have a large variety of entrees and desserts. We especially love their matzo ball soup and their corned beef, reuben and pastrami sandwiches (New York deli style). Really good fish & chips, too. One point you should know, the vast majority of the times we've dined there...the host/hostess has always been quite rude and their servers have been quite rude, as well. If we didn't enjoy their matzo ball soup and sandwiches so much, we would stop going there entirely. Here's a second option, you can order your items 'to go' from the bar/bartender and avoid the rudeness of the other staff altogether (the bartender is the one who handles their take-out orders). The bartender has always treated us well, go figure.

The turkey & bacon sandwich, side salad, and chicken matzo ball soup I had were all great. My friend enjoyed her Reuben sandwich. The portions are huge.

As a vegetarian, loved that they had options. The portions were generous, the food was outstanding (I recommend the Cheesy Garlic Bread) but unfortunately they don't seem to serve anything other than plain coffee.

Waiter was not helpful. Not professional. My burger did not have any flavor. I wanted to have flavored iced tea but he didn't ask me so I ended up having hot tea with a glass of ice cubes. I am not happy at all.

This was a great place to have wonderful food. Today the dining room was cold as was the food. The waiter was attentive but broke Maxes first rule by asking how everything was. Too bad this was one of the best restaurants.
