This is a fantastic place to find all kind of high quality wood for any project you can dream up. They have dozens of woods you won't find in your local hardware superstore, woods like Purple Heart, Red Cedar, Teak, Ipe and more. Be aware they only will cut down wood to the point where you are able to transport it. If you need special cutting done, that is not what they are here for. Everything is inside and covered in a large warehouse with a small office out front that offers custom cabinets and more. Very helpful here in front and back in the warehouse. Bring your tape measure though, some of the boards are huge. I'm totally new to word working and Mayan was very helpful in helping me narrow down my option with making making me fill like an idiot. You don't need to be a contractor or a carpenter, Mayan is welcoming to everybody.

I am a professional contractor and have been buying from Mayan Hardwood or the last 15 Years. Never had a problem. They always have good quality hardwood, and sufficient quantities in stock, a wide variety of trims, and woodworking supplies. They also carry doors and cabinet parts. If they don't have what you want in stock they will get it for you. The staff is great at taking their time to answering your questions. Special orders are always available quickly and on time every time. I refer all my customers to shop for their materials at Mayan. This is the only place to purchase your cabinet building materials, doors, and trim.

I purchased some Baltic Birch plywood as well as Padauk and Black Walnut hardwood from Mayan a few months back. I was very pleased with their prices and the customer service was excellent. Oxnard is a bit of a drive for me from home, but I'll definitely make the trip the next time I'm in need of quality exotic wood.
