Forest environment is 5 star. Roads are hard surface, most sites gravel; electric only. Bathhouse acceptable. There's a one washer one dryer laundry room which is unusual in my experience.

Beautiful and quiet heavily wooded setting. Level tent pads next to fire ring/grill. Electric at campsite. Water in the center of campground. Bathrooms worked fine but are in need of some fixing up.

Loved it here. Very peaceful. Bit of confusion over campsites available but once that cleared up ... Loverly!

The McCullom Camping Area at Coopers Rock State Forest is a beautiful place to camp. Close to the scenic overlook, plenty of hiking trails and within a short distance of Morgantown. Park staff are friendly and helpful.
