We wanted to get a site here for our travel trailer yesterday. We called the day before and told them we would be coming around lunch time and would reserve everything then. We showed up around lunch time and no one was at the office and no one answered their phone. We waited around 30 minutes and gave up. We wound up staying at Chestnut Ridge next door. The owner called us back a few hours later, and we informed them we had already booked a site elsewhere. The campground looked older but nice and we would have no problem staying if anyone was actually at the office to check us in or anwer their phone. The office staff at Chestnut Ridge said this is a common problem.

Beautiful, clean campground with large sites. Easy access through Cooper's Rock forest. Nice fire rings and other site amenities.

Very quiet campground. The people were very friendly. I know it's hard traveling and just pulling into a campground you know nothing about, but would highly recommend this one. Large level sites, large fire pits, full hook-ups, game room and a large pool. You won't regret stopping.

This is a wonderful campground! We've had nothing but the best experience here. Staff has been wonderful, grounds are beautiful. My family will treasure the memories we've made here. Thank you Sand Springs for all you do!

Owner was very nice. There is a pool and a large place to set up camp. It is in the woods but you know you are safe as there are people camped 50 feet away from you.
