So the majority of posting I do is typically to express appreciation and respect for businesses well run. I have been shopping at McDonalds for the majority of my life and I’m not young anymore. The #1 reason would be a sense of duty to support the small town business over the big box. I believe that even though prices can be higher there is big value in helping support smaller merchants. Along with that sense of duty to the smaller guys there is a simple hope that I get that feeling back from the merchant. Today I decided to throw in the towel and start going to the big box. Things have just changed and I give in this particular circumstance. I was not troublesome today or problematic and never have been. I usually find what I need without asking for help, but when I’m not thanked for my purchase that’s gotta be the end. To top it off, it was the end of the day with multiple guys standing around with little to do, there were zero offers to help me with a rather bulky purchase. Sincere best wishes to you McDonalds, may you find ways to correct some situations if needed and may you continue on as a strong small hardware store. I’m headed for shopping carts & cashiers that help me feel I made a good decision to spend my money with them.

Wish all businesses were as good as this. Help if you need it. Low/no wait check out. Friendly, no attitude staff. Great selection, fair prices. Marine and general hardware.

This is the best hardware store anywhere. Helpful staff, great selection, decent prices. If you need some esoteric piece of whatever, you'll probably find it there! Well worth the stop.
