An excellent place for a picnic, trail run, short hike, or brief sit in the woods. There's an open field to run around in, a couple covered areas with picnic tables for gatherings, and several trails to wander on (including one that's paved). Very nearby to the residential areas of Vienna, which makes it all the more appealing if you're looking for a quick trip into the outdoors.

Great trails for a nice afternoon hike. Nothing too difficult and all the trails were well maintained and clean. It's the best hiking I've found so far in the Parkersburg area.

Great park to go hiking. They have hiking trails for all levels. Very clean restrooms and picnic areas. Grills and water fountain for your use. They also have large picnic areas for groups of people.
