For several years we dealt with an intermittent problem with our furnace where it would cycle off before reaching the thermostat set point. The diagnosis by another HVAC company was that we had a cracked core and needed a whole new furnace. Before taking that step, I asked a local builder who he thought was the best HVAC guy in the Gorge and he told me Terry McDowell. He was right! Terry found an incredibly difficult-to-diagnose vacuum problem related to the way the system was originally installed. His persistence and smarts saved me thousands of dollars. Terry is sharp, honest, and professional. I'll never call anyone else for HVAC work.
