We had three companies give us quotes on painting four rooms, a stairwell, and hallway. We ended up going with McClain's because of their professional demeanor and competitive cost. Included in the cost was a one hour consultation with an interior designer to discuss paint colors, which was a huge help. Our problems with the company started about halfway through the painting. In addition to the painting, McClain's was also to remove the wallpaper from two rooms and the stairwell. After the removal of wallpaper from the stairwell, they started adding on additional costs to fix the wall, even though their contract states that patches are included. Then they rushed their final day of work and left a final product that was clearly sub par. The crew had to come back out the next week and fix their sub-par work. This included areas that were not covered completely in paint, mud patches that were never sanded smooth, and mounting holes that weren't even patched and left open. The crew that came to fix these things even agreed that it looked terrible and that they were rushed to try to finish in the time that the owner had agreed on. In addition they left dust everywhere and didn't clean up their washout area in our back yard or even disconnect the hose. 

Another frustrating aspect of the painting was when we realized that all of our hanging hardware for our pictures were removed and patched over during painting. During the pre-work meetings, it was conveyed to us that if we left a nail or screw in the wall it would be left there. None of them were, and now we have to re-hang everything in those rooms.

I was really disappointing with their work considering they had such great reviews.

I had a wonderful experience with John and his crew. They walked me through the process before starting, we’re always prompt and courteous, and most importantly took great pride in their excellent work. 

I would recommend McLain's to anyone and won’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

The staff at McLain's  painting responded quickly to my request for a quote.  I had a very small window that i was trying to get my house and interior completed.  They completed the work quickly,  neatly and were very polite.  They called to see if I would be willing to let them work on a non routine day and they were able to finish the job before the previous time estimate.  

I was referred to them by a friend. I was not disappointed at all.  Would definitely use them again!

The entire process (estimate, contract, walk-through, painting) was completed professionally and on time.  Electronic contacts with the office staff were answered promptly.  If you need painting services, I recommend you contact McLains for an estimate.

The job went great. From the initial estimate; to communicating with us prior to beginning of the job; to the painting itself, the process was smooth and professional. Jason, the estimator, was easy to deal with. Lucas was the onsite foreman, and he kept us informed during the whole process. Brian and Aaron were the lead painters and they did a great job painting. They also cleaned up and stored their gear at the end of every day. Quality of work was professional. Office staff were helpful when I had a question. Alfie was helpful in selecting a color.
