Some of these reviews are ridiculous, if your able to walk into that hospital and out of that hospital chances are you survived and should be grateful that you are still able to do so, because lots of actual sick people are not so lucky, everyone that has wrote a complaint about how staff are rude or incompetent, why don't you sit back and think of the 12 hour days these people are dealing with to help you, missing holidays, birthdays, special occasions to help you and your loved ones. You do realize that the emergency room is for true emergencies, like your heart stops beating or your actually not breathing, your child having a temp of 100.3 or a cold, your you think you have an STD and even broken ribs are not an emergency. When when are admitted you want the nurse who has more than just you as a patient, to be at your beck and call ASAP and if she   does not get there quick enough to bring you a drink, he/she is the worst nurse ever and the hospital should be closed. Be thankful there are people that are willing to give up so much, just for you just to pick out the most random thing like the parking lot being dark, or your wait time, how about instead of calling them rude or unprofessional why not try and strike up a conversation and see if you can make a difference in their life. Stop being so focused on what people can do better for you try and pay it forward. Thank you McLeod Health Employees you don't realize how great you are and how much you mean to this community.

USELESS AND RUDE!!
Went in for an extreme sore throat.checked me over for 5 seconds,did a strep test,and told me I had an ear infection.didnt explain how or why,didnt tell anything.didnt even tell me which ear or how to care for it,wrote me a prescription for antibiotics and shoved me out the door.they refused to let me ask questions, didn't even have me sign the discharge papers,and they refused to give me a note on when I could go back to work,saying"we can't pull you out of work". I didn't want out of work,I wanted to know when I was safe to go back(I work with food).

IF YOU WANT TO LIVE, DONT GO HERE!!! 
My husband came in to this hospital in excruciating pain in his back. They didn't test his urine the first time so I brought him back. Then they kept us there for hours and he gave them the urine. The nurse then says "go home and we will call u if there is something wrong" I said ok and went home. I waited that night and the next day(yesterday), no call. So, my husband went in to his GP, as they suggested, today and his Dr says KIDNEY FAILURE!!!! I called for his results they couldn't tell me anything, so I went to the hospital to get the results...no results to be found. All bc a patient came back to get help these "people", if you can call them that. Please, if you care about yourself and your family you won't take them here.

Broke my ribs and sat there for two hours until finally I said forget it if it gets worse I'll come back.
