This is one of my favorite places to go for a casual meal, and definitely my favorite place to eat in Vancouver. It has a good rotating happy hour, a big beautiful porch on the water, and lots of vegetarian options.  It actually makes the food better than any of the other McMenamins, in my opinion. It can get packed on sunny afternoons, but they text you so that you can enjoy the stroll along the waterfront while you wait. A lot of the servers have been there for years and remember what my spouse and I eat and drink.

This restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart since my wife and i met here. One of its many charms is that it is a very romantic place to have dinner while watching the boats sail by. The walking path right in front is a great place to walk off the awesome beer and fries that you can get at McMenamens as well. A must for anyone that wants good pub food at a great setting!

Well the food was good but I think our waitress thought we were trash and didn't have money (it was me, my wife and son). First we order drinks and she takes a while to get them to us. She then asked if it was just the drinks or if we were getting food too so we order appetizers and she assumed that would be all cause she started taking our menus. We explained we were still getting lunch but she still took my menu leaving one on the table. She didn't really seem to pay much attention to us. When we got our food we weren't even offered condiments, she dropped the food off and left. By the time she came back around we were almost done with our meal. It wasn't TERRIBLY busy in there and seemed like there was plenty of staff. I don't know, maybe she was having a bad day.

Enjoy eating on the River. Best place to be when sunny. Food is good. Drinks are good and my waitress was wonderful.

Ordered the brewmaster steak bites; tender cuts if beef cooked expertly, served with fondue cheese to dip them in. Turns out, this might have been what was missing from my life all along. Definitely recommend it.
