Story

Salty's on the Columbia River is truly in a class by itself. We bend over backwards to please you with our award-winning fresh Northwest seafood cuisine and attentive friendly service. Anchored right on the river with sweeping views of the mighty Columbia and majestic Mt. Hood, every seat offers a majestic view with its two-story decks and walls of windows. Whether enjoying live Dungeness crab and Maine lobster (they're swimming in our saltwater tanks in the lobby) to our world-famous Alaskan salmon and halibut in season, oysters and clams from Northwest beaches or all-natural charbroiled steaks, pasta, chicken or luncheon salads and sandwiches, you will find many choices on our menus to please the most discriminating palette. Our award-winning Sunday Brunch is also on Saturdays. Happy hour bar with live music on select evenings.

Excellent all around experience. I have 20+ years of restaurant work under my belt and I can never seem to find a restaurant in Portland that gets it's right. Except Salty's. The food was really good, the service was really good, no attitude, requests we're handled quickly, I didn't feel like I was imposing on them. I highly recommend Salty's. They know what they're doing and they're good at it.

Place inside has old look so can’t tell it is the owner want. Let about food quality, quantity vs price and services. If I am Paying 5 star restaurant I am expecting 5 star service. Food is good quality but not great or excellent. Portion vs price that’s another story. Price is high and portion are small so be ready to pay nice check for what you are eating.  Now let focus on services, the server of our table was good girl however she need bit more attention when glass are empty. You will waiting some time before the glass get refill and that is the other reason for lower rate.  For me this place need some improvement to make it 5 start restaurant however it nice to have meal

My family has been going to Salty's every year for the last 15 years and the quality has never dropped off.  We just went again today for the Christmas Eve Day brunch, and it was amazing.  It was hailing today, so we especially appreciated the free valet parking.  Our server, Brian, was awesome.  He always kept our bottomless mimosas full, and he quickly brought to us everything we asked for

I can't believe how full I am. I don't think I've ever been this full in my life. The food is just SO good. We came here for brunch as a Christmas present for my dad! The brunch buffet is just HUGE. There is just SO much food!! You have our normal breakfast options (sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, etc), there's made to order omelets and crepes, a table with pancakes, waffles and French toast, two HUGE buckets of Snow crab, Dungeness crab and shrimp, pastries, fruit, two craving tables with ham and prime rib, chowder, and then two tables of dessert with a chocolate fountain!! Whew! And that's not even all inclusive, I'm sure I left out like half of the options. The best part is EVERYTHING is good. Ever single thing we ate (and boy did we eat a lot) was so good. Fresh and delicious. I could go on and on about the phenomenal quality of everything. Our service was also great! Erika was so attentive! We never got low on water or coffee. She predicted our needs before we ever knew them! And the view. Oh my gosh. Even on a typical rainy Portland day, it was amazing. It was fun to watch the boats and planes go by. 
Great food, service, and views. This is going to be our go-to fancy brunch choice. Yum!!

I wish I discovered this place sooner! My fiance and I came here for our anniversary dinner last month and our server recommended coming back for the brunch buffet and boy, was it worth it. I suggest coming here for brunch for sure. On it's $48 (Saturdays) or $58? (Sundays) per person plus $10 for bottomless mimosas (optional). You can even make your own bloody Mary's if you like for extra $10. They have king crab legs, shrimps, ceviche, and many more. I didn't even have room for oysters I was so full. You can make your own omelet or crepes. The breakfast pastries and salad are amusingly delicious! The chocolate fondue desert was delicious but nothing too impressive. But I am definitely coming back for more king crab legs and bottomless mimosas!! PS. The service was great. They think of everything to make your dining experience wonderful!
