My sister-in-law moved recently and bought a side-by-side counter-depth refrigerator from a competitor which just didn't work in her condominium kitchen. She badly wanted a fridge that wouldn't take up too much of her kitchen space, and being wide but not deep, it did fit nicely in the space. However when she opened the main fridge door, it bumped the divider wall on the right and opening the refrigerator drawers was very difficult --with best efforts, they still scraped the rubber insulation on the door. Additionally, the small cupboards over the fridge couldn't be opened unless the fridge was pulled out. Her husband was away and I spent many hours on the internet to help her find a fridge that would solve these problems. Finally I found a much smaller fridge that was not ideal but would work. I called MD Appliances who was listed as a supplier and Valerie answered the phone and very quickly informed me that there was another counter-depth fridge the same width as the one in the condo that had a single door that opened to the left so the drawers would not be a problem. Also there was only one hinge and it was smaller and would allow the cupboards to open. We headed out to see a sample and it was much nicer looking than the other one and exactly fit all the requirements. Valerie insisted that my sister-in-law buy the fridge from her original supplier if it would save money on the restocking fee which is exactly what happened. They reduced the restocking fee by $120. Additionally the other supplier quoted my sister-in-law a price for the replacement fridge that was $300 more than MD Appliances' price, but on being shown the price from MD Appliances, they matched the price. So Valerie not only found us the right fridge, she saved us $300 in the process and didn't even get a sales commission. So this review is a small thank you. I honestly don't recall meeting a sales representative as friendly and knowledgeable. For sure, we will all be going to MD Appliances for all our kitchen-appliance needs in the future.

MD Appliances is what customer service and satisfaction is all about. They are terrific and place their customers' needs at the forefront. We are eternally grateful for the professionalism, problem solving and friendly nature of all the employees at MD Appliances. They went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed. Even the delivery guys are fantastic. I wish we every store we went to operated like MD Appliances.

I ordered a part online and it took so long to get it, about one month, I no longer needed the part!  When I called about returning the part they told me no returns!   I pleaded my case and noted the part was still sealed in it's original package, but was still told no way....   No exactly the best customer service.   I certianly will not buy here again.
