Amazing place everything went smoothly no problems highly recommended don’t know why it was so bad for others

I contacted this company for a single apartment that I saw on StreetEasy and was told to call ...-...-9812 ex.1 by Jack B. in an e-mail.  I gave them a call around noon on June 15th, 2022. I should say that the person who was on the phone by far the rudest human being that I have ever spoken in my entire life. He was extremely disrespectful and rude. This company should first teach ethical  / moral rules to its employees when talking on the phone.

I do NOT recommend Mdays/ Eastside Realty. They always try to take your deposit when you vacate. You have to fight to get it returned. Best to have a real estate lawyer In place when renting from them. They charged me 3 rent deposits & 1 last month’s rent to move in. They have in all leases that  you must show your apartment 45 days before you leave to prospective tenants through the week & weekend ...like you are their real estate agent. If you don’t they might keep your deposits. Regarding breaking your lease - this paperwork is not in your lease - the landlord just makes up an amount usually around $1000. Very shady company. They would send abusive harassing emails to tenants in response to repairs or inquiries. Their apts in MANHATTAN are extremely small. They will not help you w/ noisy neighbors. My neighbors above me were so loud & rude day & night for 4 years. Management did nothing but send a few letters the apt above ignored. No on-site manager in the building. If you see their ads - rent from anyone but them.

Bad energy company. The man on the phone was excessively rude and dismissive. Not surprised by the other reviews here... Dark vibes.

Spot is cool, good price, but the landlord has always been a d*ck

Would give 0 stars if I could.
