Beautiful community park with 2 great playgrounds for kids of different ages, big open field, a creek, and great water park to boot. Also, on Wednesdays there is a great market with fresh local produce and prepared foods.

Family friendly water park during summer months, closed Wednesday. Wednesdays 3-7:00 pm Charlottesville Farmers Mkt is held here. Clean bathrooms open week-long. Tall beautiful trees for shade around the pool area, easy grass to walk on. Family friendly, bring strollers or kids wagons to check it out. Makes a wonderful Farmers Mk T environment. Re: Parks & Recs for more information. Park is to left of pool. Playground, benches. Grassy area well maintained. A treasure tucked off Mead St. Free parking at pool area. Also Free street parking. Relaxing environment. If you have children, this en5ire area is a must experience. Just check times open between the pool, Farmers Mkt. Park open everyday during daylight hours.

Great spot! A toddler playground as well as a larger one for big Kids, lots of picnic tables and shade, lots of grassy areas, lots of fully grown trees, a small stream, a wonderful farmers market on Wednesdays, and Onesty Pools right at the Park as well.

Great park for a lot of great reasons.... parking isnt all that good.... small lot....
