The Smith Aquatic Center pool is much less crowded now that the YMCA has opened, which is nice. It's still pretty clean and the lifeguards are great, but I hope the SAC will up its game to increase visitors (and revenue) for its own sake and to make it a better experience for visitors. Some suggestions: 1. Fix the shower heads! There's no shower head in the women's handicapped stall, which is the only shower where you can adjust the temperature. The temperature of all the other showers is pre-set, and it's TOO HOT for someone just finishing a workout. 2. Install some European-style shower gel/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers. It's silly and unsanitary not to provide soap for the showers. 3. How about a garbage can in the bathroom, so that you don't have to walk out to the dressing area to throw paper towels, etc. away. 4. Install hair dryers at a proper height, not just hand dryers at 4 feet off the ground 5. Consider installing a small area with a table and umbrella outside the southern pool door so that lifeguards and swimmers can sit outside & get some Vitamin D. No smoking, please! Overall, the pool is very nice and the price is good compared to the YMCA for infrequent swimmers. I hope that management invests a little money in the facilities to make them more competitive. This was not a good place to go. Was way to expensive, big slides was not open, water and current was not on most the time we was there, and most all the lifeguards we're rood. On top of that when we called before going to check prices they LIED! And then we ended up paying way to much for what we could use. We could not go in the deeper pool so 3ft is all we could swim in. Will MOST likely NOT be going to this pool again!

Great pool and fairly inexpensive. You can go year round since it's inside. Nice zero depth kids pool with playground equipment and a lazy river.

Very nice place. They kids area is great. We went in the middle of winter and it was a great break. The water was heated and very comfortable.
