It was an enjoyable trip. Park is clean and not very busy. There are a lot of trails, a frisbee golf course, a lakefront beach front, camping, and lots of pavilions for picnics. There are a couple playgrounds for the kiddos, so it's very family friendly.  The only disappointment was the walking bridge was out so I couldn't get to the observation tower.

Love this park as with all parks it has a kids play area and plenty of gazebos and picnic tables all with grills. It also has a very nice boat boat ramp with a lot of of truck with trailer parking. They also have camping area where you can bring an RV or just put a tent either way they have facilities for restroom and showers. But what myself and especially the kids love they have "THE DUNE'S". A very large area with big hills and large trees that you can climb,hide, and play on. That is what sets this park apart. A must for a family to go to. Only $2 to get in for the day (camping is more not sure of pricing)

I go there a lot. Have been for years. Super friendly staff. Super kid friendly. The mounds are a blast for them. Fishing is supposed to be great. Plenty of shelters that can be reserved. People have weddings there and birthday parties. Board walk is currently closed...

This park is beautiful with its lakes and walking paths. There is tons to do and lots of pavilions. During the week is the best time to go as there are very low crowds. Traversing the hills with all the exposed tree roots is a must do!

Very nice park, very big. It offers lots of trails, camping areas, lots of bathrooms, showers areas. There's also a boat ramp and canoeing. Lots of amazing trees that people can climb on. They also have a disc golf course. There are many pavilions and picnic tables if just going for a day trip.
