On Sunday, (4/15/18) I left work early due to having body aches and chills, headache, fever. I did however break my fever and was sweating on my way there. Figured I would have the flu since of how bad it has been this year. I got to
Medexpress and told them I think I have the flu. I saw Dr. Callahan. I also told him all my symptoms and that I thought I had the flu. I work with people who have special needs and they are a high risk group for contracting it. He began to tell me that the flu is making its second round. You would think he would have tested me for the flu but he did not. He said that I probably just have a sinus infection and put me on a z pack. Later that night I was in so much pain and was freezing and my head was pounding. Ibuprofen helped. I took off work the next day and went back to work today (4/17/18). I still felt crappy today so I left work early again and decided to go see my regular pcp just to get a second opinion because I truly did not believe I had a sinus infection. My pcp tested me for the flu, and wouldn’t you know it.. I tested positive. All of this could have been avoided if they would have just tested me on Sunday at medexpress but why even put in the extra effort knowing how bad the flu has been this year. Hopefully I didn’t get any of my consumers sick. Wasted money. I will NEVER go back to medexpress. If I get sick on a Sunday I will either way until Monday or just go to the ER. Not even worth the trouble of going there.

Poor quality service for a medical facilities. Won't go back left and went to a different urgent care facility after waiting 45 minutes and being only one other person in waiting room,

My service is usually fast here.  Staff answers all of my questions.I wished they were opened a little earlier.

Well this just deterred me from going here today. Open at 8 am,  called last 15 minutes and answering machines still on saying they are closed!

Refused Service just wants extra money from you even when your insurance pays them what the rate is and you have no deductible UPMC  Urgent Care gets my business from now on !!!!
