Meineke Car Care Center has been America’s local auto repair shop since 1972. Starting out as a muffler shop we have expanded to a full service car repair shop that performs services from car ac repair to exhaust repair to tire changes at our tire shop. Came here to have a problem fixed on my charger 08 and they couldn't find they problem I asked them to fix and gave me a bunch of new problems to fix. then they replaced apart that I had recently replaced and it broke again!  When I called and asked about replacing they told me they would charge me again to replace. I get you can't warranty the part at least warranty your work! In response to your response I didn't just come in with parts from somewhere else. you guys said the last person who put on the the bleeder housing did a bad job. And since I had just purchased the part recently maybe the company will warranty it and they did! You didn't say anything if this part goes bad we will have to charge you again to put it back another one. In that case you should have told me to get a return and buy from you! the part is only 30 dollars I would have paid easily to save the headache. And if it broke the first time from bad work who is to say your work was any better. Please don't mislead people to think I came in with parts asking to fix my car. I did what you recommended and was asked to pay twice.

In 2018, customer service has become a phrase businesses use to draw you in. However, very few actually provide a truly helpful, efficient service. I rolled into Meineke on a Saturday evening in the back of a tow truck with my Camry in the back. I had just driven up from Eugene and when I was ready to head home, the car wouldn't start. No sounds, no attempt to turn the engine. Tow truck tried to jump it and no luck. They brought me to Meineke and despite the fact that no one knew what was going on, they took me in within two hours of closing. Mark and Miguel worked on the Camry and were able to get it to start so that I could at least get it back to Eugene that night. What an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff (not to mention just straight up hilarious). I'm planning on moving up to Portland after graduation and they have just earned a customer for as long as I am up there.

My niece brought our car in last week, choosing the Lombard location as it is close to her work. We have been struggling with this issue for a while and can't drive at highway speeds without problems. They charged us $95.00 for diagnostics only to tell us they found nothing wrong. That was a week ago today. Over the weekend the "Check Engine" light came on. Contacted the Meineke closer to us and found out they don't charge for diagnostics. I would suggest going elsewhere.  The money charged could have gone toward getting the car repaired.

I'm traveling to Portland from Wisconsin. Thought I blew a fuse powering my phone power outlet. Went here to check on the fuses. The two guys I worked with (I think it was Jim and Miguel, but my memory fails me) were very professional and efficient. After a lot testing, we found no fuse problem - it turns out that BOTH of my USB adapters somehow got fried and died at the exact same time, so they were the problem. So they didn't have to replace anything. Jim didn't charge me for the diagnostic. Great guys, I would come back here when I do move to Portland, in a few months.

Without an appointment I have always received a welcome for my automotive needs. From an Oil Change to Timing Belt replacements to Brakes to entire engine removal and sealing this is the place!!!The office staff is knowledgeable with decades of experience in the customer service, vehicle maintenance and repair fields. I highly recommend this facility.
