First visit and they nailed it! Walked in on a Sunday morning and assumed there would be a wait judging by the packed dining room. We were seated in mere minutes and scored the perfect table in the corner next to the windowfor a good view of the beautiful new snowfall. Our waitress was patient and professional and gave us plenty of time to decide from the very generous selection on the menu. Surprisingly minimal wait for how busy they were and I would have waited longer after taking my first bite! I managed to refrain from my yummy dance that I sometimes perform after realizing how good my food is, and proceeded to finish every morsel! I will definitely return and recommend to all! Can't wait to return and try the burgers. Nice to find a place that cares and hope they continue to succeed.

Seemingly hidden gem in the QC with great breakfast and good lunch options. We hardly ever need to wait to be seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is enjoyable and the staff is friendly. Prices are a little high, but pretty much on par for other restaurants and worth the money. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the QC.

Quickly seated in the quaint building.  Walls have murals of impactful items. The Greek Athenian omelet was amazing.  The meat was plentiful with the saltiness of the feta, onions and tomatoes. Tzatziki was an average flavor but a great addition to the omelet. The hash browns were crispy but the pancakes are well worth the stop. Light and fluffy with a sweet background in the batter. Nice touch is the warmed syrup to put on your pancakes.  Highly recommend this gem. My only complaint is the extremely long fingernails of the waitstaff with gems and more on them.

Excellent breakfast fare!  Tough to decide from so many delectable sounding options.  Our wait staff was polite and attentive.  The place was very busy on a rainy Sunday morning, though we snagged a table immediately at 10:00 a.m.  The only partial criticism would be the wait time for food after we ordered; slightly extended, but it WAS busy.  We'll be returning here when next we are in the Quad Cities.  Highly recommend.

I really enjoy Meli's.  Have only been there for breakfast.  There is big menu with lots of items to pick from.. I have never had the same breakfast twice.  Each time I have been there the meal has been very good.  You get plenty of food and shouldn't leave there hungry.   Today I tried the Country Fried Steak skillet with a side of pancakes.  Very tasty.

Great food even better service.. Everything I've had has been delicious! Owner makes you feel like your family while enjoying anything from their menu.  Cannot stress enough how great they are as they also helped support UAW Local 434 during their strike by bringing food out to the picketers as well as giving discounts!! The local community is better because of people like you Meli! Thank you from all of us with the UAW!!!

I don't go out for breakfast often and am very particular when I do. But I can honestly say Meli's is amazing! So satisfied. Great food in a very nice location. I had a skillet and my wife had the omelette. Both were delicious. I sampled the carnitas skillet and will be back to get that soon! Great simple menu, well executed. Their omelette are labeled “fluffy” which they are and they taste great, I had the meat lovers omelette with hash browns. My 4 year old had the kids pancakes with some chocolate chips and strawberries, with scrambled eggs and link sausage, he liked all of it and the portion sizes were generous for a kid, so he was able to bring some home to his siblings. Best breakfast place in Moline.

A fantastic addition to downtown Moline, a full-service Breakfast & Pancake house. Big Menu. Friendly atmosphere, clean open look. I recommend the skillets.Food: 5/5

Seriously, this place is a gem! I'm from the Des Moines area and I wish this restaurant was closer because I would spend my mornings here. Went two days in a row. First day we got sat right away and the 2nd time we did wait but there was 8 of us. Not a very long wait and understandable. Got the same server both times and I wish I remembered her name. She did an amazing job! Very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! Got the Mexican omelete the first time, super yummy and fluffy. The country fried steak skillet the second time and was also very delicious! Got pancakes both times, one with strawberries and the other time apple cinnamon! Best pancakes ever! So, good! I really want to see this place thrive, even though I can't go as much as I would love too! But next time I'm in the area I'm definitely hitting up this restaurant again! Check it out!!
