This has been weighing on me for a few weeks now and as of today, I just need to get a few things off my chest, so to speak. I just turned 34, I have an almost two year old child and an amazing husband. We as young woman often hear stories of the lucky women who catch cancer early for being proactive in the care for their bodies. So when I notice an abnormality in one of my breasts, I'm going to have it checked out. I have a young daughter and loving family I would like to be there for just like anyone else. I make an appointment to see my OB about it, and he gives me a referral to your office. Being that you are referral only, that would mean another doctor agreed there might be something that needs to be looked at. I get it, I'm younger than most of your usual patients and I have colored hair and tattoos (which I was asked "why?" about during my visit but that's another issue). The level of condescension I received from the ultrasound tech was unbelievable. Berating how I found said lump and basically mocking me for not being an expert. Girls my age were not taught by anyone what exactly to look for. What we know is what we read on the last page of our "sassy" magazines in junior high back in the early 90's. Arm up, check for lumps, ne'er a mention of anything solid, just a lump. If there had actually been something found, you would have congratulated yourself on finding it early and saving my life but since it turned out to be nothing I was sent away being made felt stupid for wasting people's time. Unacceptable. In my mind there was a possibility of something terrible about to befall my happy little family. Leaving my child with a babysitter to be in a frigidly cold office with my boobs on display is not how I would like to spend my day but we all needed peace of mind if nothing else. But just maybe, in the future, I should actually find something, how I was treated would make me less likely to come in to have it looked at. Just something to think about.

Watch your wallet !!! ABC of any business involved with insurance is to verify correctly the eligibility of the customer .... I was referred by my GP to go to this facility to do my annual screening & mammogram, this is what happened 1- I called the facility to book my appointment & to verify my insurance eligibility. They advised me that they are in-network & they booked my appointment as i requested a month following to the booking. 2- I went to the facility on that day and had the service done, they asked for my ID card, my insurance card and they had me sign the consent forms on papers & on the ipad. 3- I got the EOB from the insurance with 0.00 for the technician report 4- I got another EOB for $286.00 For the mammogram !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5- I got the invoice from the facility to pay the $286.00 6- I called the insurance and they advised me that the facility was out of network !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and told me to call the provider since the claim was filed correctly. 7- I called the provider, they advised that they are in-network and asked me to call my insurance to see what was the problem I have been doing this back & forth between the insurance and the facility since 12/21/2016, i filed an appeal at the insurance company but the provider refuse to admit that they did a mistake from their side for not verifying my coverage correctly. I am still waiting for the appeal status & will keep you updated ! I rate them as zero or less customer service

Waited 1.5 hours on a Saturday with a lobby full of women... only 2 techs workings. Please schedule additional staff or don't set appointments so close that patients waste their valuable time.
