This is the worst bank I've ever encountered.  My debit card gets declined alot and at the worst times ever!!! I must have gone over my transaction limit and I can't pay for the hotel tonight so I have to go to a homeless shelter and I've got $2000 in my checking account!! After every time I get declined I can't do anything about till they are open and most of the time they say they don't see it was even declined and act as though I'm making it up!! It's new years weekend and I'm homeless!!! I hate mendo lake credit union!!!

DO NOT DO YOUR BANKING AT MENDOLAKE CREDIT UNION! I work for the State of California. My paycheck has never bounced and never will. I have direct deposit right from the State Controllers office. It goes into my account on Midnight of the 1st of each month. The past two months MendoLake has held my money as (pending) until the 4th of the month! I need my money on the 1st, that is what I budget for. MendoLake has no business putting a hold on this money for 4 days!!!! They've got the money. It is an incredible hassle for me to have to wait that long to have access to my money! I have never experienced this with any other financial institution I have done banking with in my life. They also screwed up after I put a levy on someone's account that I had won a small claims case against by putting the levy on my account rather than the debtor's. This institution is just incompetent and greedy! I am switching to a different institution as soon as possible. I have been with MendoLake for a year and a half and that should be enough time for them to know my paychecks are good.
